It's a very god place to begin. For an Orthodox perspective, see Fr Alexander Golitzin, "Et Introibo Ad Altare Dei: The Mystagogy of Dionysius Areopagita, with Special Reference to Its Predecessors in the Eastern Christian Tradition."
