wowser! People have an amazing consistency to them and there really is nothing new under the sun. Since the first relic - perhaps the robe or the Cross of our Lord - there have been folks trying to capitalize on objects that are precious to someone... Lord have mercy!
I am in possession of a skull (plastic), presented to my son as the "skull of St. Patrick when he was a child". It was a dubious joke, of course. Strangely enough it made me to think of St. Patrick more than I would have normally do. It rests on my desk and I often "converse" with him! I am quite fond of it!
