Marriage and the Sacrements

Q & A with Fr Job:
Question: May one get married while pregnant?

Answer: Letters with questions about pregnancy arrive often: can one be baptized, can one be a godparent, confess, Commune, marry? There are no canonical limits for pregnant women. As far as Communion is concerned, it is advisable to Commune as often as possible. This is necessary for the health of the soul and body of the woman herself, as well as the child whom she’s bearing.
