I have good news, and I have bad news. The bad news is that I must declare this blog officially dead. The good news is that my work will continue in a better, more traditional, and more lasting form. As of the January/February, 2011, issue, I have become one of the editors of Orthodox Life, the popular English-language publication of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. This periodical, which has been in continuous publication since 1950, is currently undergoing a renewal in both content and design after several years of relative decline.
If you have enjoyed the material found on this blog, then I assure you that you will enjoy the new Orthodox Life.

What's the best way to subscribe? Do I need to mail a check?
So far as I can tell, there is as yet no way to subscribe online. I'd suggest sending an email requesting you get on the subscription list, and then mailing a check. This department has not yet been renovated!
So you are restored to health? I am glad.
I will find out how much my bank wants for an international money order.
I hope your blog revives! It has always been my favorite. I know Orthodox Life will become great again, and I will resubscribe, but your blog touches more that Orthodox Life ever will.
Really wish this blog had a search feature. I was looking for your posts on "THE ORTHODOX STUDY BIBLE", old testament & Septuagint.
