Icon of the Apocolypse

When the time comes, I'm willing to wager that the Battle Hymn of the Antichrist will be something much like this:
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
This is pretty revealing (and depressing).

I have to disagree with your assessment of the patristic testimony on the subject of the Ancient of Days. See: http://pages.prodigy.net/frjohnwhiteford/ancientofdays.htm

I in fact lined to your article, as you'll see in the post above. If you're interested, I could respond to your points.

I agree wholeheartedly! This song has long been one I've immediately turned off for exactly the same reason you've stated! God save us!
