Today is celebrated – as was yesterday and as will be tomorrow – the
Bridegroom Service. Today the liturgical texts refer chiefly to the parable of the Ten Virgins (
25: 1-13), which is the general theme of the Bridegroom Service, while also referring to the parable of the Talents (
Mt 25: 14-30).
