Question: Why in the time of the Antichrist “there shall no longer be death”?
Answer: “There shall no longer be death” not during the time of the Antichrist, but after the victory over him: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth went away; and there is no longer the sea... And God shall wipe away from them every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be death, nor mourning, nor crying; nor shall there any longer be pain, for the first things went away (Rev. 21:1,4). Death came into the world with sin at the beginning of history. With the full conquering over sin death is also destroyed: For it is necessary for Him to reign, until He should put all the enemies under His feet. Death, the last enemy, is to be abolished; for, He put in subjection all things under His feet (I Cor. 15:25-26). The prophets foretold this blessed state: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away (Is. 35:10).
